About

Built by someone
who needed it first.

Not a wellness company that hired researchers. A person who spent two years figuring out what actually works — then built it into something other people could use.

The Beginning

I wasn't looking to build a company.

I was looking for a way to stop replaying conversations that had already ended. To stop running the same decision through my head for the eleventh time. To get one full night without my own thoughts keeping me company at 2am.

I tried the obvious things first — the meditation apps, the journaling prompts, the breathing exercises. Some of it helped, briefly. None of it held. The pattern always came back, usually within a few days, because nothing I tried actually addressed why it kept happening — only what to do once it already had.

So I started reading the actual research instead of the repackaged advice. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. The neuroscience of rumination and the Default Mode Network. Decision psychology. Stoic philosophy, which — six hundred years before fMRI scans existed — had already worked out most of what the scans would later confirm.

I spent close to two years pulling these threads together, testing pieces of them on myself, keeping what worked and discarding what didn't. ZeroSpiral is what was left once I stopped guessing.

I didn't build this because overthinking was an interesting problem. I built it because I was tired of being good at my job and bad at being in my own head.

The Decision

Why a protocol, not a library.

Most products in this space hand you an open library — hundreds of sessions, browse whatever sounds good today. That model works for relaxation. It does not work for a mind that already over-analyses everything, including which session to pick.

Giving someone with a decision-paralysis problem unlimited choice is not a feature. It's the same trap with better production values.

ZeroSpiral is sequential on purpose. Twenty-one days, one session unlocking after the last, because structure is the actual intervention — not a delivery mechanism around it. You don't get to skip ahead to the parts that sound interesting, the same way you can't skip ahead to being someone who doesn't overthink.

The Reasoning

Decisions that look small. None of them were.

Reset to Zero
Not "find your calm" or "feel better." Zero is a number, not a mood. Your Spiral Index starts somewhere measurable and ends somewhere measurable. That's a deliberate rejection of vague wellness language in favour of something you can actually verify happened.
Built solo, on purpose
ZeroSpiral is built and run by one person. That's not a limitation — it's a design decision. Every word, every framework, every product decision carries a single point of accountability. No committee, no diluted vision, no credibility borrowed from advisors who aren't in the room.
No face, no avatar
ZeroSpiral's content has no on-camera presenter and no AI avatar. Not a budget decision — a trust one. The protocol should hold up on the strength of the research and the structure, not a face you're asked to find relatable.
A diagnostic before a sales page
Before ZeroSpiral asks you for anything, it gives you a number — your Spiral Index, free, no account required. You should know what you're dealing with before anyone asks you to buy something for it.
"Not therapy," stated plainly
ZeroSpiral applies clinical research; it does not replace clinical care. Saying this clearly, every time, was never optional — it's the line that keeps this an honest product instead of an overpromise.

The Research

Built on evidence. Not opinion.

Every framework in ZeroSpiral is grounded in peer-reviewed research — not wellness opinion, not personal philosophy dressed up as science. The rumination research, the cognitive defusion techniques, the sleep protocol, the Default Mode Network findings — each has a published evidence base from institutions including Harvard, Yale, Oxford, and the University of Pennsylvania.

The full evidence base is documented on the research page — study by study, institution by institution. You don't have to take our word for it. You can read the same papers the protocol was built on.
